STRONG HONEYCOMB STRUCTURE
The honeycomb structure (for gravel and pebbles) and geotextile base are made of recycled polypropylene (PP). The structure of the cells creates tightly compacted pockets that securely hold loose gravel, forming a durable, porous, water permeable surface.
REDUCED GRAVEL REQUIREMENT
With a depth of 30m, BLOCK ROCK requires up to 50% less aggregate compared to a typical loose gravel surface. This allows one tonne of 10mm gravel to cover approximately 35m², offering significant cost savings in materials, time, and labour.
DURABLE AND WET WEATHER FRIENDLY
BLOCK ROCK includes a high-quality geotextile membrane which prevents weed growth and allows rainwater to easily absorb into underlying soil. The membrane also provides an additional layer which ensures the gravel in the honeycomb structure stays in place and doesn’t migrate beneath the grid which could cause grid lifting. BLOCK ROCK is resistant to extreme weather and temperature.
